POSITION: SUBSTITUTE CAFETERIA WORKER
LOCATION: TO BE DETERMINED
HOURS: 9:15 AM – 1:15 PM (MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY)
REPORTS: UNIT LEAD PERSON
JOB DESCRIPTION: This is general foodservice work involving the preparation, presentation and serving of food. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation area, serving area, and dining room facility. Performs cashiering duties or serves as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; Ability to operate standard food service equipment including; steam tables, stoves, ovens, steamer, food processor, mixers, slicers, coffee brewer and urns, dishwashing machine, pot and pan sink, garbage disposal, carts and dish racks, kitchen utensils and small equipment. Knowledge of cash handling and POS exchanges. Must have the ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull. The District will train in ServSafe so certification can be achieved.
